In Search of Ghosts - Isabel Young

Circular ArtSpace presents Isabel Young solo exhibition. 16–29/12/2024. The exhibition showcases her expanded paintings, drawings, and burial works. Inspired by fieldwork in Pompeii, South-East England, and Orkney, the exhibition reimagines historic spaces as Monuments, viewing homes as cultural repositories. It reflects on how people have lived across time, offering fresh insights into human and non-human relationships and reinterpreting the past as a construct for the present.
