El-Cezeri, whose full name is Ismail Al-Jazari (Ismail Ebul-İz Bin Rezzaz Al-Jazari), was a prominent Islamic scholar, engineer, and inventor of the 12th century. He was born in 1136 in Cizre, Turkey, and died in 1206. Al-Jazari is particularly renowned for his work in mechanical engineering and automation, and he is often referred to as the "Father of Robotics.
