A virtual exhibition of urban mixed media artworks by Denise Buisman Pilger. 

During a three-year stay in Japan Denise fell in love with Washi (Japanese paper) this, combined with a newfound appreciation for Japanese minimalist esthetics, compelled her to blend her modern, image transfer techniques with traditional Japanese imagery and materials.

Each piece in this series is a celebration of the elegance and artistry experienced in Japan.
